Dragon Boat Festival Garden Fair | Celebrate Traditional Festivities at SANDIYIXIN

With a history stretching over 2,000 years, the Dragon Boat Festival stands as an important cultural icon of the Chinese nation that unites people and carries profound patriotic sentiments. While zongzi is a staple of the holiday every year, SANDIYIXIN delivered something distinctive this season by hosting a funfilled garden fair for all staff to mark the festival.

After the host explained game rules, the one minute countdown kicked off the zongzi fishing contest. Paired contestants collaborated closely to hook as many rice dumplings as possible within the time limit. The game tested players’ dexterity and patience while highlighting the value of teamwork and deepened everyone's understanding of traditional Dragon Boat customs.

The arrow tossing game unfolded smoothly on another corner of the venue. Rooted in ancient Chinese culture, the pastime symbolized good fortune for successful throws. Participants fine tuned their postures and arrow angles before each toss; cheers and crisp clinks as arrows landed inside pots reflected the seamless inheritance of historic traditions in modern life.

Against sweltering summer heat, delicate round hand fans brought refreshing coolness. Staff painted personalized patterns on blank fan surfaces with diverse techniques, exchanging creative ideas and turning plain fans into unique artworks amid an inspiring creative atmosphere.

Customary herbal sachets are crafted to ward off bad luck and bless loved ones with health and safety. The air was filled with soothing mugwort fragrance as employees hand made festive gifts for family and friends.

Later in the day, everyone relaxed over tasty refreshments, chatting freely about daily work and life with bright smiles across their faces.
